Licensed Midwives are regulated by the Department of Health, Council of Licensed Midwifery, and the Division of Health Quality Assurance in the State of Florida. The protocols for Licensed Midwives in Florida are contained within the Licensed Midwifery Rules, 64B24 of the Florida Administrative Code. Graduates of the Three-Year Direct-Entry Midwifery Program and the Midwifery Program Modified for R.N.s will be eligible to sit for the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) exam. The NARM is the Florida licensing exam for the Midwifery profession. Graduates will receive a Diploma from The IIHCP Institute.
